We organise meetings in a variety of countries to gather the opinions of many farriers. A century of Werkman & Co

We began producing horse shoes in 1909: a hundred years ago. Much has changed since then. Machines have been automated, and our range has been greatly extended. We offer a suitable horse shoe for virtually all horses. All of our horse shoes are produced in Groningen, the Netherlands.

From metal bar to horse shoe

Our R&D department works in partnership with various farriers and the sales department on the production of improved or new models. That way we always work towards producing an optimum horse shoe for many applications. That makes it possible for us to incorporate new insights from the market in our horse shoes.
